The long-awaited day for the screening of films created by youth from all over the world, DBGYFF 2024, finally arrived. Starting from 2 PM, young people gathered to actively participate in the film screenings. The event was an eye-opener for many of the attendees.
As the films played, refreshments were served, and the audience was delighted to witness the creativity of young filmmakers from across the globe.
The Director of Bosco Eastern Africa Multimedia Services - BEAMS, Fr. Isaac Maina, encouraged the youth to come up with content that will support the youth to earn a living. Opportunities are many. It is left to the youth to grab all the available opportunities.
Speaking at the event, the Chief guest, the Rector of Don Bosco Youth Educational Services, Fr. Zobinou Komlan, encouraged the youth to embrace their creativity and produce content that addresses the issues affecting them. He urged them to create lasting content that would be remembered and contribute to a long-lasting legacy.
