Mother General in Utume

BEAMS swung into action again today covering the event where Mother General of the FMA was meeting with the Youth people from the centres where Salesian Sisters are serving. It was a grand occasion. Different centres presented various cultural items and speeches in appreciation to the work that Sisters are doing in various missions in AFE-FMA province that comprises of Kenya, Tanzania and Rwanda.

Home Mass of Fr. Patrick Mugendi

Fr. Patrick Mugendi celebrated his home Mass today. Present were Salesian, his Parish priest Fr. Paul Kinyua, Assistant Parish Priest and the St. Monica Small Christian Community of Mbiruri Parish which Fr. Mugendi belongs. Below are some select photos.

BEAMS in Makuyu

BEAMS was again following the Mother General of the FMA in Makuyu where she was been welcomed by the FMA of AFE and the Christian community of Makuyu.

Receiving Mother General of the FMA

On Friday, 23/08/2019, the BEAMS team went to the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport to receive the Mother General of the Salesian Sisters, FMA. Present to Receive her was the Provincial of FMA-AFE Province, Sr. Gisele and the Provincial of AFE, SDB Province Fr. Simon Asira, Sisters, youth and the Mamas from both Dagoretti and Hurlingham.  From the Airport the convoy proceeded to the FMA Provincial House in Hurlingham where official welcome was done.
